Law Student: Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor

posted in: Luxury To Forget, No Record | 0

I definitely bought my younger sister plenty of alcohol, and she’d definitely give plenty to her friends.

After I got into law school, I told her it had to stop. That is, I could still buy for her, just not her friends. That’s where I drew the line.

The area we were living in just wasn’t a place where people got caught. If I felt like there was more risk, maybe I wouldn’t have done it. I was in an environment where consequences weren’t a likely possibility.

I have no idea if I’d be here today if I had been caught; I might not have bothered to try. It just kind of gained momentum over college: law school is just something that happened—right place, right time.
